The Plague Thieves Ending

These poems are meant to go more in detail on a video I made called The Plague Thieves, so they might not make much sense which is pretty on brand for me... but still... you might get more out of these works if you cheeked out the video! (https://youtu.be/a4T64L7B3W4)

Two men
Thick as thieves
Explore a tomb
Ancient evil awaits the alarm
And once it comes
All is well
For evil
And plague
And demons from beyond
Lives are changed
World's destroyed
Do they care?
Probably not
If it isn't shiny
But what is the point if nothing works?
So the hieves return
To fix thier folly
As only the dishonest can
A battle of dead
Soldiers of dread
Can never win
Against the trueness of men
Even against the odds
Victory can always be found
And a spark of light
Ends the blight
That has spread forth from the town
But this story's not done
There's no fame to be had
Just a debt
For deeds done

I realized this poem didn't actually go very deep into the final battle which was really the point...

Two men
And a demon
Do battle
Fighting the night
Away in a tomb
Darkness and fire
Deeds to inspire
A way to win
The only way
Is the shedding of blood
Trudging throught mud
To find a way
A single weakness
A breath of hope
Sparks from a sword
The most special sword
Cracking against an unexceptional rock
Is enough to bring down a demon
But is that enough
To tame a heart of darkness?
