What if I were a guy

Who was known for being "fly"

In this world that seems to ignore me

What if I was the dude

Who could sometimes be crude

But millions of folks still loved me

What if I was the man

With a deeply bronze tan

A smoldering smile

Winning award for just being there

Just standing there

I'll never be that one

I turn crispy in the sun

I might not be any fun

So I'll stay here

Just run

Live your life

I'll just stay home tonight

And dream

My Golden Poem

She sees the spark in me
That nobody else believes in
I'm just another person
But my friends all see much more
They all notice the things that I do
They don't think that they're so awful
And when I travel the world
The moments I spend are never that dull
Things may always be different than what was planned
But the differences never go too far
And they don't get too out of hand
Not for me
I've built up a family
People who know I'll succeed
Through the good and the bad
All the ideas I have
They support me
They want to see me happy
And I won't have to be alone
In a future time zone
When all is lostAnd the world moves on
I will have somewhere to go
And know
That someone is waiting for me
Hearing my words
Watching absurd movies with me
Experiencing
Videogame magics
And TV dramatics
Which always end on a laugh
It seems impossible
But what else are dreams for
