Just Enough

Let me be inspired
Because I have some work to do
I can see my time just slipping away
And it doesn't need to go to who
Are the ones who will bow to the yelling
The newest witch hunt
That people are selling us on
And we need to be aware
Not not care
Because we are bad?
We are wrong?
What are the lines of that song?
They want you to be victims
And not strong
And you are better than that
Than a cat in the hat
Who carries a baseball bat
As if it won't hurt people all the same
But I'm insane
Because I just don't care
I know that somewhere out there
There's someone waiting for me
I just can't see her right now
My eyes are kinda blurry
And that's right
I said her
Because she's a she
And she's proud to be
And she'll be proud to be with me
Even if these silly words never mean a thing
'Cause they aren't profound
But I hope one or two will make you smile
'Cause I'm planning to be here
For awhile
And you are going to see
Some really crazy stuff
For now, this is just enough.
