Another Smile For You

I'm only sixteen
Or maybe forty-something
I don't know anymore
And I'm not sure it matters
Because though forrests
And deadfolk
Creepy, little lumps
Of screeching skin
I will begin
To take a quest
Beyond the realm of comfort
To the worlds of import
We will walk
And run
And sometimes even take a boat
But I must get there
To an end
And at least five more
That you've never thought of before
Is it evil's end
Only for a time, my friend
As for me
I can no longer be
Part of your society
I hope you'll come find me
After you have lived your life
I don't expect you to leave
The green and browns
For gray and wispy
Just look at my history
I'm not always right
But I've got another smile for you
